“Accessibility Plus” for outpatient specialist care units (AOS) – what you should know?
Outpatient Specialist Care (AOS) facilities can benefit from various grant programs. The funds obtained through these initiatives allow for the modernization of medical centers and the improvement of service quality. A great example of this is the “Accessibility Plus” program for AOS. What is important to know about it, and how can the acquired funds be used?
Who is the “Accessibility Plus” program for AOS intended for?
The “Accessibility Plus” program for AOS is run by the Ministry of Health. It is intended for Outpatient Specialist Care facilities. The program’s main goal is to increase the accessibility of AOS services for patients. In practice, this means that the funds can be spent on improving infrastructure, purchasing specialized medical equipment, and implementing innovative technological systems. The call for applications under action FERS.03.07 “Accessibility of Healthcare Entities” will open in July.
Both public and non-public healthcare facilities that have been providing Outpatient Specialist Care services for at least three years can apply for the financial support offered by the Ministry of Health. Additionally, the facility must operate in at least two medical specializations from the following list:
- ophthalmology,
- neurology,
- oncology,
- psychiatry,
- hematology,
- urology,
- tuberculosis and lung diseases (pulmonology),
- cardiology,
- obstetrics and gynecology,
- otolaryngology and speech therapy,
- orthopedics,

- medical rehabilitation.
To apply, the facility must first commission and complete an accessibility audit.

The maximum project funding is 900,000 PLN, and this can cover up to 100% of the total investment cost. The minimum funding amount available for AOS facilities is 150,000 PLN. It’s also worth exploring other funding opportunities available to the healthcare sector.
What projects can be financed with the acquired funding?
Funds obtained through the “Accessibility Plus” program for AOS can be used for investments that improve the accessibility of services provided by the medical facility, including:

Additionally, the funding can be allocated to staff training to improve qualifications and service quality.
EasyCall solutions in the context of the “Accessibility Plus” program for AOS
The acquired funds can be used to invest in IT systems offered by our company. This includes, for example, investments in a medical voicebot, chatbot, or IVR voice announcement system. Each of these implementations should be focused on enhancing the accessibility of AOS services for individuals with special needs. A good example is electronic registration, which eliminates the need for physical presence at the clinic. This is just one way in which EasyCall solutions can align with the objectives of the “Accessibility Plus” program for AOS.
